SKATE PARK
Thanks to the generous donation from Brain and Gina Grant and the crew from Team Pain, we have been voted best skatepark in South Flordia 4 years in a row. There are obstacles and ramps to please skaters of every skill level. The skate terrain includes mini ramps, a vert ramp, bowl, and multiple street courses for all levels of skating. Hubbas, handrails, hips, boxes and all kinds of movable obstacles can be found on each unique street course.

NEW FOR BEGINNERS IN
10
Many beginning skateboarders have asked for a new course that will allow them to progress at a greater rate. In response we have designed an awesome new novice and intermediate training facility where skaters of all skill levels can learn tricks on a variety of easy-to-skate obstacles. Campers can easily track their improvement and take their tricks to bigger obstacles as they progress throughout the week. In addition to the new skate park, we have created an intensive training program that will serve campers that come here wanting to see a marked difference and achieve proper technique over the course of a week.

Camp Activities : We don't just roll a round, we have so many cool things to do:Cable TV Show: We are planning our own web TV show. Campers will film and edit at the park and combine skating, music, and art into their show .Photography and Film Editing: Kids love to film their tricks, and the skate park provides digital and still cameras for the campers, along with a computer for them to edit on. Art: Campers are provided with so many different ways to express their creative ideas, from painting skateboards, to making murals. Music: The center currently provides music mixing stations, guitars, and keyboards. We encourage campers to learn to play or bring in their own instruments.BMX Bikes: Using the Oak tree canopy as shade and a natural bike trail, campers are able to ride around the course they design using the different terrain to create obstacles.

Long Boarding/Mtn Boarding: Sloping sidewalks and Peacock Park’s elevation allows us to teach children the fundamentals of board riding(surf/skate/snow) using heel/toe side turning

Kayaking: Explore Biscayne Bay, Water Safety Instructors will lead you out to the grass flats and the spoil Island to explore a new frontier. Swimming: we cruse over to Virrick Park to enjoy the refreshing life guarded pool .

Fishing: The waters in and around Miami are filled with numerous fish to catch. On the boardwalk in Peacock Park we show you how to fish, identify, and rig baits through hands on and classroom teaching as well as hands on fishing experiences.

Our rocking chill center, outfitted with Alienware computer’s, loaded for gaming, video editing, mixing music, or surfing the web........
